I hope you all are finding ways to stay happy and healthy in this crazy time! While I am saddened that we are unable to gather and see through our spring sports season, I am looking forward to supporting you all in every way that I can.
I recognize that there may be a lot of confusion, anger, and disappointment around the cancellation of the sports season. I too have experienced those feelings but am working to bring positive and healthy habits to my life and encourage you to do so as well. Your ability to adapt and persevere continues to inspire me, to work even harder, to support you all.
While we are not able to have our spring sports’ season, I plan to continue to support you with resources to remain physically active, help develop your skills, assist with learning new sports, and to generally continue to experience the joy in athletics. On our webpage I will be providing individual workouts under each of our three spring sports - baseball, softball, and track and field. You will also find motivational sports’ videos, instructional videos, and highlights from this year’s athletics. These are all here as resources for you as well as a way to stay motivated, inspired, and mentally and physically healthy.
I want to stress the importance of social distancing and staying at home as recommended by our health department. Our number one priority is to keep everyone in our community safe and healthy, so we can get back to normal as soon as possible.
If there is anything specific that you are interested in learning about or want more information on, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
Stay positive and healthy and we will be back on our fields, courts, trails and tracks soon!
