Welcome to the 2019/2020 school year! I am humbled and enthusiastic to serve as the Athletics and Activities Director for the Kingdom East School District. I am excited to focus on getting our students active, increasing access, and providing many opportunities for our students to develop as student athletes.
This fall we will be offering soccer and cross country running for all grades. The three locations will be Burke with Sutton and Newark, Lyndon with Miller’s Run, and Concord with Lunenburg/Gilman. Transportation will be provided to practice and game sites however pick up will need to be arranged home.
We encourage you to get your students involved. Research shows time and time again, that when students are involved in after school activities they are more likely to not be involved in unhealthy activities, they perform better academically, and there is less inactivity in their daily routine. Students who are involved in after school activities have been found to gain confidence, school pride, and a connection to the community as a whole. Our athletic program is a great opportunity for students to experience the many benefits of being involved.
Before participation, all student athletes need to:
- Fill out and sign registration/Proof of Insurance
- Read over the Kingdom East Athletic Guidelines
- Complete the Well Exam – Sports Participation Clearance Form
We will be hosting parent information meetings in August with dates to come.
I am dedicated to creating positive athletic opportunities for all of our students in the district. I am excited to be a part of and grow athletics here in the Kingdom East School District and look forward to supporting our community here at KESD. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
