FY25 Budget Updates (for 3rd Budget Vote)

On Wednesday, April 17th, the KESD School Board held a special meeting to discuss the failed budget and plans to move forward with presenting the community a revised budget for the 2024-2025 school year. The revised budget to bring forth to voters is now $47,581,455, which is a $420,000 decrease from the previously proposed budget. We will be holding another Informational Meeting on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 6pm at the District office to discuss the revised Article 1 (listed below).


Article 1: Shall the voters of the Kingdom East Unified Union School District approve the Board of School Directors to expend $47,581,455 which is the amount the Board has determined to be necessary for the ensuing fiscal year? (Australian Ballot)


Budget Vote #3 will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
