The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved Vermont’s Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (SEBT) plan to help feed eligible school aged children during the summer vacation months. Vermont is among the first states to launch the new permanent SEBT program. Households where the school aged child is receiving 3SquaresVT benefits, their S-EBT will be loaded on the same card. The benefit is $120 for the summer per child. Families can use the benefits to purchase groceries.

Taryn Hunt, Registered Dental Hygienist from Northern Counties Health Care and Valerie Lemieux, Nationally Certified School Nurse at Sutton School have teamed up to provide access to dental care at school.

Last year Kingdom East received a grant and was able to purchase equipment to certify students and staff in First Aid/CPR/AED. On Tuesday, February 13th Concord School 6th graders completed their training session and received their certifications.
