Carol Mason

Children and art are a natural combination. Art happens when art supplies and techniques are introduced and the results are individual and unique as each child. My goal is to nurture the creativity in each child by providing lessons in art history, technology arts, and mixed mediums.

My job is to nurture confidence and desire in my students so that they will love creating something and to appreciate the creations of others, during their experience here and beyond.

I want to help children remain artists when they grow up!

Carol has been teaching art at BTS since 1996 and is also the vice president and chair of the arts in the schools' committee of the Burklyn Arts Council. She is married and lives in Lyndonville with her husband and their daughter. She enjoys watercolor painting, needle felting and learning about new art projects for her students to experience.
