Meet Our Physical Education Teacher!

Brian Gallagher

Prior to teaching, I earned a degree in accounting and worked in the financial industry for nine years.  In 2003, I decided to change careers and pursued a masters degree in physical education at Adelphi University.  My first full time teaching job was at the Concord School, teaching physical education for grades K-12.  I enjoy many outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, disc golf, skiing, and snowshoeing.  My wife Helene teaches special education at Burke Town School.  I have two children, Colin and Catrina, and a dog named Luna.
