Every year, the College of Education and Social Services (CESS) at the University of Vermont, together with Vermont supervisory unions and school districts, the Vermont Agency of Education, and the Vermont NEA, join to honor the accomplishments of our state’s outstanding educators.
On Tuesday, November 14th the 43rd Annual Outstanding Educator Awards event was held at UVM's Dudley H. Davis Center Grand Maple Ballroom. We are pleased to announce that this year, not one, but TWO Kingdom East staff members were recognized for this award.
Nominee: Sue Galipeault,
LTS Literacy Teacher (Grades 7-8)
For 18 years Ms. Galipeault has inspired and challenged the children of Lyndon Town School, most recently as a middle school literacy teacher. She takes new teachers under her wing, and is a listening ear to veteran teachers as well.
