Wrapping Up Our Fall 2022 Athletics Season &
Looking Forward to the Upcoming Winter Season!

KESD 2022 Fall Practice Schedules Now Available

October 31, 2022

As our Fall 2022 Athletic season has come to an end, we would like to thank all of our Athletes, Families, Coaches, Refs, Volunteers, and all of the KESD Community that made this such a wonderful kickoff to our 2022-2023 athletics year!

Following the Thanksgiving break, the KESD athletic practices for the winter will begin on Monday, Nov. 28th.

You can sign up now by going to the KESD Athletics web page and completing the form provided.

You may also sign up by clicking the Sign Up button below.

Required Paperwork

Please click the buttons below, or go to Parent Info on the Athletics page to fill out the required forms for the 2022-2023 Athletics year. Please note that these will need to be completed for participation (Well Exam Form and Registration/Proof of Insurance).

If your student/athlete participated in either Fall Soccer or XC Running their paperwork is already in for the year.

Nordic

You will see options for PK-4 and 5-8. Ultimately, we are trying to build this program, both in numbers and sites available. The availability of equipment and the accumulation of snow will drive when programming can start and how many we can serve. Further announcements to come.

KESD Basketball in Concord & Lunenburg for PK-8th Grade

We are fortunate to have the Waterford School partner with the Concord/Lunenburg athletes at the 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 levels. This partnership will allow us to sponsor separate boys and girls teams at these levels.

PK-2 Skills will take place on Saturday's from 9-10 at the Concord gym.

KESD basketball at Lyndon Town School - All students from Lyndon Town, Burke Town, Miller's Run, Newark, Sutton and Riverside (for grades 5-8)

I am looking for a few assistant coaches for different levels and you can submit your interest in the sign up document.

I would also like to increase the number of available officials. There is a spot for this in the sign ups as well.

Lyndon Youth Basketball will be sending a flyer out to address the start of K-4 programming.

Parent Meetings

Dates for these meetings will be announced soon so that you can put them in your calendars.

Thank you,

-- David McGinn
